Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held high-level telephone consultations on Friday with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Army Chief Asim Munir.

The discussions centered on regional security and the ongoing Pakistan-mediated diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States.

While Pakistan emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue for regional stability, Iran raised concerns over alleged U.S. ceasefire violations and "excessive demands" during previous negotiations held in Islamabad on April 11-12.

U.S. military planners are developing "dynamic" strike plans against Iranian naval and energy targets in the Strait of Hormuz, anticipating a potential collapse of the current ceasefire, according to reporting from Israel's Channel 12 (N12).

The U.S. Department of State’s Rewards for Justice program announced a $10 million reward for information on Hashim Finyan Rahim al-Saraji, leader of the Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada militia.

The announcement, published on social media on Friday, accuses al-Saraji’s group of killing Iraqi civilians and attacking U.S. diplomatic and military facilities across Iraq and Syria.

The Treasury designations block all U.S.-based property of the targeted individuals and threaten secondary sanctions against foreign financial institutions facilitating their transactions.

The diplomatic dispute between Iran and neighboring Arab states has escalated following a formal exchange of condemnations regarding recent regional military actions.

The Arab League, in an extraordinary ministerial meeting detailed by the Saudi Press Agency, strongly condemned Iran for launching missile and drone attacks against eight Middle Eastern nations, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq.

The League accused Tehran of violating UN Security Council Resolution 2817, demanded full economic reparations, and condemned threats to close the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandeb.

In response, the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported that Iran's Foreign Ministry unequivocally rejected the Arab League's statement. As of April 21, Iran’s airspace has partially reopened, the Virtual Embassy Tehran announced. U.S. citizens should leave Iran now, monitor local media for updates, and consult with commercial carriers for additional information on flights out of Iran.

Americans seeking to depart Iran may also depart by land to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan. U.S. citizens should not travel to Afghanistan, Iraq, or the Pakistan-Iran border area.

The statement warned that the Iranian government may prevent U.S. citizens from departing or charge an “exit fee” for departures from Iran. U.S.-Iranian dual nationals must exit Iran on Iranian passports.
